The need for "?" is entirely dependent on the search service itself.
Different search services behave differently.

But: If I use the Hippo Viewer, the Viewer crashes when calling the
search. (This is the same effect as on Avination with Hippo Viewer).
If I take another viewer such as the Imprudence or other then everything
ok
There is a configuration variable for this on 0.7.1, under the
[LoginService] section. Looks like it didn't make it to the
.ini.example's, but its name is
SearchURL
You can set it to whatever you want.
