I am testing between Openvue grid with 0.7.2 dev master (r/16542) and
and OSGrid.
To report on status... I am using an avatar "HG Tester"
(7d845bc9-06f0-4edf-8c75-5eeb813a0071) on OSGrid (created there) and
my avatar "Ai Austin" (e24a9015-f5ca-452b-8c95-d32e34cb9d64) on
Openvue (its home grid).
We are meeting up at Wright Plaza on OSGrid and Vue-9000 on Openvue
grid and testing making friends and IM from home grids in cases where
friendship is made on OSGrid or initiated on Openvue grid.
OSGrid avatar makes friends wwith Openvue avatar on Openvue and on
return to home grid of OSGrid gets the reminder about having made
friends and is asked to confirm that. But after confirmation, IM from
OSGrid to avatar on other grid shows as other user is busy or logged
out when they are still logged in.
Openvue avatar is NOT given a reminder about friendship made on
another grid when returning home, or after reloggging. And friend
disappears from friends list after relog.
I see this entry in my OpenSim.exe for the region involved:

When the OSGrid avatar logs in on that grid I see these messages on
my Openvue Robust.exe console... so some sort of connection is
incoming when OSGrid tries to see if the friends are online:

I also note that my offline message delivery stops working when I
have updated to 0.7.2 dev and am using the HG friends/IM addins, so
that might be related? I am using this in my Openvue grid OpenSim.ini entries:

OfflineMessageModule = OfflineMessageModule
OfflineMessageURL = http://...removed.../offline.php
I have carefully checked the Robust.HG.ini and GridCommon.ini and
they look like the .ini.examples indicate they should. I note that my
port 8003 is NOT open to the firewall as usual... port 8002 is open
for external connections. I am using the defaults for all ports as
in .ini.example which sets port 8003 for the new connectors for the
HG friends/IM services.
I wonder if someone has thoughts on where to start checking for what
I assume is a config problem at my end.
