Justin,
I've created a site: http://opensimulator.org/wiki/Opensim_ini - Please tell
me, if this Format is feasible. Of Course, I do not know all the parameters and
their function. Perhaps, someone can help filling the table.

Looks good. My major suggestion would be to replace the individual release columns with something like a Since column (e.g. since 0.7.0.2). The vast majority of these could just be 0.6.9 (or pre 0.6.9).

Of course, actually filling in the parameters is the rub - there are a large number of them, even if one doesn't consider OpenSimDefaults.ini :). The best documentation is still OpenSim.ini.example, though at least having them in a wiki allows people to more easily put comments by them (and makes them more findable via google). And it doesn't need to be initially perfect, it can start off imperfect with some warning that it's under construction and folks can help fill it in over time.

opensim.ini/robust.ini

Dear all,
i would like to make a suggestion. When i set up my grid, i ran into various
issues. Most of them related to the missing knowledge of the different switches
in opensim.ini and robust ini. I think, it makes sense to create a table, which
tells the user, what switch in what simulator version is responsible for which
feature.
I would like to translate this also into german language, once it is written.
What do you think about this?

It would be nice to have something like this. I think the problem in the past
was that OpenSim changed so rapidly that
such lists rapidly became out of date. However, this doesn't seem to be such a
problem right now.

There is something like this for region config vars at
http://opensimulator.org/wiki/Configuring_Regions, maybe this is
a good model for such a page? If there was such a page, then hanging it off
http://opensimulator.org/wiki/Configuration
would be a good idea.
