I'm pretty sure this has never been implemented in OpenSim.
In principle, most of it would be possible to implement in ScenePresence.PhysicsCollisionUpdate(), though one would need to extend OpenSim.Region.Physics.Manager.PhysicsActor.ContactPoint with the type of thing colliding. The Selected Object Collide field would probably be more difficult.
Unfortunately, this just isn't high on my list of priorities right now. On 31/10/11 18:29, Ovi Chris Rouly wrote:
Dear Devs, I just witnessed that a (rev. 1.23 ) SLViewer/Client logged into the SLServer system will produce a "MeanCollisionAlert" (OpenSim OpenMetaverse.dll ref. nr. 65672) onto an (rev. 0.9.1) libOMV client when that libOMV client is logged into the SLServer system and when the libOMV client is the *OFFENDED* collidee. OpenSim (rev. 0.9.2) appears to not produce the same output packet and or drive output results. Can anyone confirm or reject the accuracy of this finding? If it is correct, might a Collision Alert feature that corresponds to the SLServer technology be planned for OpenSim in the near future? As always I am grateful for your collective efforts. Very respectfully, Chris Reference: http://lib.openmetaverse.org/wiki/MeanCollisionAlert Reference: OpenMetaverse.AgentManager.MeanCollisionAlertHandler(). _______________________________________________ Opensim-dev mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/opensim-dev
