we do use 0.8.1 dev http://www.osgrid.org/index.php/downloads, perhaps it
is the git hash that is confusing? our current release zip is tagged as

osgrid-opensim-06212014.v0.8.1.ca2379e.zip
its : <date><version><git hash>
