The list of OSSL functions that can be enabled is long and only going to get longer over time. I like the idea of having the settings in a separate file. I have a problem with the file ending in "ini". If grid operators are allowed to modify this file their changes will be lost the next time they upgrade their base install of OS when the osslEnable.ini overwrites their customized version. Changes to the defaults should be in a separate file that won't get clobbered by a grid upgrade in the similar way to how we have OpenSim.ini.example, Flotsame.ini.example, and GridCommon.ini.example.

The later proposable from Mister Blue advocating settings such as
    "Allow_OsSetEstateSunSettings =  ESTATE_MANAGER,ESTATE_OWNER"
is a good one. It allows finer control over who can use a given function. It would be good to have a way to have a shortcut for settings that may often repeat. The example could use some other string to represent the combination of estate owner and manager. It would make the file a little easier to read.

Anyone who simply overwrites their existing install, without backing up at least the important parts of it, is being careless, IMNSHO, and it's entirely their fault if something gets clobbered.
