It’s the choice of viewer developers whether they will fall inline with Linden 
Lab on any given change or policy or not. I would be surprised if any viewer 
already supporting Linux would drop support just because of this. It was never 
started that Linden Lab would stop support of their Linux viewer either, just 
that they would no longer be making efforts themselves to develop it.
