Situation: As you know My Suitcase folder is use to protect HG visitor by limiting content exposure to visited HG grid . HG visiting osgrid this week-end a friend give me a few objects that ended in My Suitcase. At that point everything was normal. Morning after on login I wanted to check those new objects in my grid. The object folder of My Suitcase indicated loading content like it does when refreshing inventory content list but only for this particular folder of My Suitcase. After waiting what appeared to be a very long time it did not refresh content so the objects folder could not be consulted.
Clear cache on the viewer did not solve anything. And worst adding a cube by HG visiting somewhere else appeared properly on addition. But after logging in was caught in the same loading forever situation and did not show up at all. In other words breaking My Suitcase for use to collect HG object unless moved off IMMEDIATELY to regular folder on return to mother grid. Solution: Making a IAR of the My Suitcase objects folder was possible. And loading it on a vanilla grid did the same thing to the test avatar it was loaded on .The object folder was continuously loading with no access to the object. What I did to isolate the offending object out of IAR did not work. Its a tedious process of clearing the vanilla grid database and reloading a fresh avatar with the modified IAR content. Anyhow the IAR is available to anyone interested in investigating the situation. My solution was to go back to database inventory table back ups and reload the grid database to a day older. It easy for me cause I am the only user of my grid ...
