        For me that is current dev branch
        We should had merged it into master now, but we can't because our
central machine is outdated only having mono 2.10 on it
        And for now see no upgrade in near future :(
        It is not targeted to .net4.6 avoiding some security issues of
previous versions.
        That means mono 5.x on linux. On win that means no more XP support,
only Vista and up. Several VS do support it, including of course 2017.

@Ubit... I have seen the commits going in on the 
httptests/opensim-lib branch and that this branch depends on .NET 
4.6  and/or visual studio 2017.

Can you explain what this branch is and if there is a plan to merge 
that back to the core master branch?
