traceroute is filtered inside my ISP network, however mtr shows no
significant packet loss.

I see UDP flowing in and out (tcpdump) and my avatar suffers no
hiccup while moving. Everything looks good before the disconnect,
except the ping jauge in the statistics window, and packet loss
rising slowly up to 0.3% at disconnect time.
