Not sure why you trying to get a IAR from tar command . Best is to use any running region simulator and save iar format :save iar [-h|--home=<url>] [-v|--verbose] [--noassets] [--perm=<permissions>] <user-name> <path> <password> [<filename>] where the filename selected finish by IAR or by tgz . If you use TGZ extension you get the native format of the command while using IAR ending is only recognised by load iar command. The save IAR command natively tar compress the data with gz format .
