Regarding the server side, if I am reading the correct forum,
Volker states on Sept. 12:

"....You will need a region module, MurmurVoice in order to set up the OpenSim server. We are currently finishing it in order to get published together with the client source. We had some delay due to other projects but soon it will be available...."

Thus, it appears not ready for general deployment, but hopefully
soon. here is the thread for reference:

Mumble is cross-platform. But the Vivox replacement for the viewer is
