There are now examples for this in the OpenSim.ini.example file. In an ideal
world this would be on the wiki as well, but I find that any wiki documentation
gets very quickly out of sync for OpenSim.ini.

Great. I understand about the wiki but that can be brought up to date by
anyone.

Unfortunately getting this working revealed another bug. The following line on
my console ...

17:15:28 - [REST CLIENT]: Error fetching resource from server
http://mywebcache.lancs.ac.uk/caching/unconfigured/?http://search.osgrid.org/register.php?service=online&host=1.2.3.4&port=9000

(and the equivalent for 'offline') suggests that online/offline notifications
to the gridhost are not being passed through the web proxy, but are instead
being handled directly. I guess I should submit a bug through mantis but I'm
reluctant to create yet another account on yet another system, and the bug
doesn't seem to be causing me any problems with my stand-alone configuration.

Simon.
