Actually, I did start out with one region and had the same problem. One of the first things I did was to set up TPs around to various places where I was going to be building things, so those where the only scripts I had running then. Later on, I checked out the 4region mega that comes with the Sim-On-A-Stick set up and have now set it up so its a 16 region mega. I like the idea of having a square kilometer of sim to mess around with. :D
More specifically, when I rez an object with a script, I have to recompile, and then make the console window active to complete the compiling. This I know is due to my system being a little under-powered. Once this is done, though, there's no delay on implementing/initiating a script, like a TP. Most likely, the script issues I am having is due to the combination of them being written under DotNet combined with my system being a bit under-powered.
