Has anyone updated the following for version 0.9 of libomv

These things are clients -- they don't know anything about Opensim
especially, the version of libomv used in Opensim doesn't matter.
We have written several bot clients in the past. The problem is that after
version 0.7 of libomv, the protocol has changed.
As
long as the protocol is compatible, and AFAIK LLUDP is unchanged for
ages at least enough to be compatible so that old clients can connect.
Old clients can connect, true, but it would seem prudent to begin using
the newer,
and same, libomv library that OpenSim is now using.
So I think you can use whatever version of libomv that works for you on
the client side. If you really want a bot client, instead of a bot on a
server (in which case those tutorials don't apply).
I wrote the tutorial on "my pet bot", but would definitely like to
update it.
Thanks.
