I know, it sounds like I am being stuborn, but I like to many of the new
features in 1.4. So for now I went to the Imp forums and sent out a
message asking if they knew about this, Isent the same logs I sent here
and explained how I was told the old 1.3 might work but I am hoping for
a fix. I am new there so my message is moderated. I am sure it will be
on the forum soon.
On the other subject any clue if there is a way to make all my regions
able to turn voice on and off, without having the user go to one
specific sim to start a chat then go from there? It would be a great
step it getting opensim to act a little more like an ex Secondlife grid
user would expect.

As for what I did wrong, this is for others who feel stuck and can't
seem to get anywhere with murmur and whisper. It don't seem to help
with imprudence 1.4, but it does get old Hippo working fine. I was so
happy to find I had a dot and when I spoke into my mic, yay I had talk
lines and my AV mouth was moving.
What a relief, I was so happy. One thing was in the [murmurvoice]
section of my opensim.ini I put to much in the murmur_host =
entry. I typed in the click here.

on Windows 7, 64-bit. Phenom 9500 2.2 ghz Quad Core, Terabyte Hard
Drive, 8gig DDR2 RAM. Used XAMPP to load PHP Version 5.3.0, Apache
and MySQL 5.1.41-community edition. Modules not yet successful
