The Hypergrid doesn't use OpenID. OpenID doesn't provide the necessary
data for exchanging the agent information that is required for the HG to
work.

I found a couple of discussions about using OAuth as in-world authentication,
but it is not what I mean. I just would want users to be able to use their
avatar account to login in a web platform like WordPress or Drupal, a ticket
support system… any OAuth -capable website…
Using OAuth would allow a wider range of solutions, and best mixes of solutions
to build the website
