I don't know how to help with the blurry but I think I can with it being
partially offscreen.

Right-click the HUD and Edit, then scroll back. You will see the scene
shrink as you would if you did the same with the camera. In the scene you
will also see a white box. This is your viewing area. Simply move the HUD
until it is completely within the white box.
