The entire "hop" schema is flawed. It is unable to express a SSL (https) login URI. The schema needs to be revised urgently before widespread adoption.
As region coordinates change, there cannot be a region coordinates in the URL because the intention of the URL is to be persistent. Because of this, the name is the better option here because even whan sims are shuffled around in a grid, they will still be found by name and a teleport can complete.
