Garibaldi, et al, My "work around" is to upload a pdf into Box, use the "Direct Link" in Box to the target pdf document (see the Box app at https://app.box.com/, with 10 GB of storage free), and then deploy the a simple open web page script (to link to the pdf document in Box).
