For the benefit of others who have experienced this problem: the opensim 0.9.2 version that Leal mentioned isn't available yet on opensimulator.org (although it is available in OSGrid).
The most recent released version available from opensimulator.org is 0.9.1.1. I run my own independent grid (http://grid.virtualmarin.com:8002) and don't want my users potentially having problems with a development version, so I'll wait for a release version of 0.9.2.
