Hi Paul,

I didn't realize the website still pointed people toward CVS. The 
OpenSLP repository was upgraded to Subversion several years ago! :) 
OpenSLP is not very well maintained these days. It's reasonable stable, 
but just doesn't get much attention.

Try this:

    svn co https://openslp.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/openslp/trunk
