I'm sure I had the same thing. For a few days after the announcement 
some URLs like /feeds/people/nnnnnnnnnn did return some limited data. 
Now they don't.

If you're interested in working with some data from the People Data 
APIs, I've started an implementation of the server side. I'd very much 
like to work with you to refine it. Here's my feed
http://www.ecademy.com/feeds/people/1
And I'd very much like to work with other Container people looking to do 
the same thing.
