Hi Kevin, There's currently no set method for doing this via the API - each container will have its own methods for generating links to install a gadget.
For an example of what you can do in orkut, check out this page: http://opensocial-resources.googlecode.com/svn/samples/coderunner/trunk/index.html The button links to http://sandbox.orkut.com/AppInfo.aspx?appUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fopensocial-resources.googlecode.com%2Fsvn%2Fsamples%2Fcoderunner%2Ftrunk%2Fcoderunner.xml You can generate a similar link for your app. ~Arne On Mon, Apr 21, 2008 at 8:41 AM, Kevin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Is there any code in the open social API to auto-add the application > to the user's profile, or is this manual per environment?
