I too have the same problem. I guess i am asking the same question in a different way. Is an OpenSocial user's social graph available to external websites? I wouldn't want to manipulate the graph, but a way to detect and persist changes would be nice. I am quite new to the OpenSocial paradigm, do tell me if i am not making any sense.
