At hi5 we're seriously considering moving everything over to use this common infrastructure for our use of jquery, scriptaculous, and prototype, and we're going to recommend that everyone on the hi5 platform do the same.
It's deja vu too, we had proposed a standard javascript libraries gadget extension months ago, and here we have this....
