A thing you have to know is that not all users are able to access
sandbox yet, I have some friends here in Brasil that can`t have access
to the apps since they country is set as Brasil. If you have any
doubts AND speaks portuguese (since your name is Luciano, that is
common in Brasil) visit http://brasilopensocial.blogspot.com I guess
you`ll have less doubts on how good OpenSocial trully is.
