Hi OpenSocialists, I just finished writing up a step by step tutorial for getting a SproutCore (if you don't know what it is, head over to http://sproutcore.com RIGHT. NOW.) application up and running as an OpenSocial gadget. The first part is basically a mini "my first SproutCore app" tutorial, so you can also check it out if you're not interested in using it with OpenSocial, but be warned: the official SproutCore demo apps are much better :).
Why is this so cool? Because SproutCore is an amazing JavaScript library that seems to be made for OpenSocial development. You have Rails-like generators, a JavaScript test suite built right in, fixtures for test data, a full MVC architecture and much more. Find the tutorial here: http://blog.springenwerk.com/2008/07/socialsprout-using-sproutcore-in.html All feedback is welcome! - Johannes -- http://springenwerk.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OpenSocial Application Development" group.
