Linked-in has a different target audience then most social network  
sites (aka buisness/networking), and they will be a bit stricter as  
well with what gadgets they allow too i imagine ... probably won't be  
much super poking going on there I think :)

However they did say in their presentations that anyone who's looking  
to make gadgets for their platform should contact them to get access  
to their private development sandbox, so your best bet is to just mail  
them i reckon.
