Hi Moiaz, I'd start by reading the development guide: http://code.google.com/apis/opensocial/docs/0.7/devguide.html
Just walk through the examples, create them your self, and get a good feeling for how to make an open social app... it's like making an ajax style web application where you do most of the work in javascript.. There's a few more articles on this topic at: http://code.google.com/apis/opensocial/articles/ Once you have that down, take a look at the gadgets.io.makeRequest examples, and see how you can do a signed / authenticated request, you can use that to fetch data from your server (if thats required), and know who the viewer and owner are. As far as orkut goes, thats just a matter of waiting :) In the mean time you could use www.partuza.nl or www.hi5.com to test your first gadgets. Hope that helps a bit & goodluck! -- Chris On Jul 10, 2008, at 9:26 AM, Moiaz jiwani wrote: > hi chris , > i read ur post in google groups.... > i need ur help.... > i want to make a gadget using opensocial api but not able to find a > good documentation... > i have subcribed to orkut sandbox n waiting for approval... > could u plz help me what should i do n from where i should start to > create my own social app/componet/gadget for orkut.... > > i hope u chk ur emails and reply to anonymous mails like me... > m working for a company n need to do this ...so desperatly need ur > help.... > > thanx > Regards > Moiaz Jiwani --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OpenSocial Application Development" group.
