Us early adopters had some javascript examples to work from, but we
had to do much ourselves.  The second wave folks will have a much
easier time because of our efforts.

I suggest you check out the code we made available yesterday at

 http://code.google.com/p/hi5-opensocial

This is all original, non-obfuscated javascript code, plus a proxy
servlet. You should be able to take that and modify it to suit your
own site.
