Glad to hear it! As was pointed out by Paul Lindner elsewhere in this thread, of course it would be possible to make a replacement for ifpc.js, but without at least documentation of its API it would mean that gadgets and containers using different IPC mechanisms would not be mutually compatible and reuseable across sites. Put another way, allowing undocumented, obfuscated and proprietary code into the core would defeat the purpose of OpenSocial, not to mention the effect on the credibility of organizations dedicated to Open Source Software that are involved. Looking forward to seeing a cleartext ifpc.js pass into the SVN repository.
