hello, i understand if you have no idear what is does, let me explain to you: lets say you have a web site where you want an option to import birth dates of friends. how to do that ? just make a link to you profile where the opensocial app is installed and you login with you user name and password and then just press on export my friends and your done.
when opensocial 0.8 comes out for all of the social web site ill will have to re think it all because of wat i hear the RESTful API will allow direct access to the user and user friends data. in till that time my social database api does the same thing. if you have a look at this flow cart you will get a better understanding of what i'm trying to explain http://dream-code.net/flowchart.jpeg i hoop you under stand more of what i made.
