Hi Tim, I can not answer your questions but I have checked this behaviour in the partuza SNS (http://www.partuza.nl). I have installed the ToDo application in my profile. In my profile I have a section to view the userprefs of this application. As somebody else views my profile he has no gui controlls to access the settings. In this SNS he has instead a link to add this application on his profile.
