I've decided to open source the work I did getting Shindig integrated
into our application.

Here's the project description:
Mediated OpenSocial abstracts the services that need to be tied into
your application without requiring any third party libraries. Once
you've implemented to Mediated OpenSocial you should be able to use
any OpenSocial container implementation (should there ever be multiple
implementations). Additionally, it makes adding Shindig to your
application/site much easier.
