I know that this is nothing special at all and there are lots of - most likely better - ways to do this, but since it's a requirement in the Orkut Developer Guidelines (http://code.google.com/apis/orkut/docs/ orkutdevguidelines.html) I thought it couldn't hurt to share it with the community.
