I'll admit it, I don't understand how Orkut caching works, either in
production or in the sandbox. In the sandbox, I occasionally can
simply upload my new xml file and reload the page and get the code
changes. Sometimes I don't and I have to remove then add the
application again.

In production, I see frequent requests to get our gadget xml file from
Orkut in our Apache access logs. It's not an issue that Orkut would
grab it often, I just don't understand why the cache would be
refreshing itself so often.

My only potentially resasonable theory is that Orkut uses the Cache-
Control response header to determine how to cache the gadget xml. Is
this the case?
