Surjan: I assume you're testing your application in the orkut sandbox. Unfortunately, the sandbox has not been updated to support the features introduced with version 0.8 of the OpenSocial API specification, although this is coming in the not-too-distant future. Please stay tuned to the orkut developer blog, which will be updated when a more specific time frame is available. I apologize for the confusion.
