Is there a guideline to use when calling opensocial APIs from PHP program? I invoke PHP program using content-type="html". Before the control goes to PHP program, I retrieve the viewer and friends' information in javascript and pass them to PHP.
I want to use opensocial.requestSendMessage and opensocial.Activity within PHP program. For now, it's not possible. I understand that only option is to use a cron job to gather all data and trigger these APIs in javascript when the app is loaded. Is there a simpler way to call opensocial APIs directly from PHP program?
