You can include a link like this in messages- 
http://www.orkut.co.in/Application.aspx?appId=813891887046 If the user has app 
installed it takes to app canvas page other wise to app install page.

I just saw an reply/posting regarding the fact that Orkut does not support 
requestShareApp.   I had posted this question a number of weeks ago with no 
answer.  Why is this kind of important information buried in a very old 
posting?  Why does Orkut not support this basic feature?   Also, the response 
to this (as always) gives a link that is cut off in email ....so I can not find 
it through search and I don't have the time to hunt through every posting.   
Can someone tell me:1) where the posting is for the work around with 
requestSendMessage.....what are you emailing the person (what url) so they get
