Could you install atleast one other app (like BuddyPoke) on your profile and verify that it appears maximized? As you can see in the following section of the orkut dev guide, the top 3 apps should appear maximized in the profile and all subsequent ones would be minimized: http://code.google.com/intl/en-US/apis/orkut/docs/orkutdevguide/orkutdevguide-0.8.html#chrome
