Hi Vijaya, Please disregard my last message as I did find response regarding rejecting my applicatoin from Orkut team on Feb 20th in my SPAM box. I apologize for missing that email.
My application got rejected for following reason: The app is in violation of orkut terms and conditions, e.g. throwing popups, posting activities or redirecting without any user interaction I am very positive my application does not do any of these these activities with following exceptions: 1. throwing popups: I have one place where when user deletes a category, I warn user using javascript's "confirm" function as it can delete all the items that they have added to the category. I will disable this functionality before I resubmit the application but just wanted to confirm if this is allowed or not. 2. posting activities or redirecting without any user interaction: I have two pages in my application where user can perform lot of actions in very short amount of time. Instead of posting activity immediately on user action, I use a timer (which checks for user actions every minute) and if user has taken any actions it updates the activity. The code makes sure not to post any more activities if an update has already taken place irrespective of subsequent user action, on that page, as it will be annoying for users. I will also remove this code prior to submission, but would like to check if this not allowed as I am only doing the activity update based on user actions. 3. My application is fairly big, so it will be really great if reviewer can let me know the specific area where they see I am in violation as I am not sure what exactly there are experiencing. I do realize that they review many applications and it could increase their work load, so I would make sure to double check my application again. Your feedback is highly appreciated.
