I can see the issues you are facing with security, so can understand why this has happened. Flash is a bit of a black box, in terms of what you can do inside it. Do you have any sort of heads up in how flash may be handled, and what sort of restrictions may be placed on it. At the moment our profile app gets a json string from the persistent store, then pulls images from our server accordingly.
