By the "spirit" of the new profile view policies, I have the feeling
that this behavior is the intended one from Orkut Team.

The profile page is an "Orkut owned page", the rules are very strict
now. So I think it's natural that Orkut does not want to have links
that open in new windows from the profile views.

By the way, why do you prefer to open the link in a new window instead
of the current one, which is much better to usability and user
experience?
