Hi, I'm new to orkut as well as opensocial widgets. So i would like to run a few things by the pros first!
I'm building an opensocial widget which would change it's appearance depending on the number of users that have it installed. Is there any prebuilt function to information from orkut itself? If not I'll make due with tracking the number of people which installed it from the server that's hosting the widget and retrieve the data using os:HttpRequest though I have read somewhere that this function would soon be removed from the profile view. Is this correct? Thank in advance for any help.
