gadgets is another standard that may or may not be implemented by
other containers.

I personally use YUI tabs because YUI is much more powerful then
gadgets. and I use much more then just tabs. So i endup having tabs
for almost free.

gadgets began as google JS framework for igoogle if I recall
correctly. I believe that if opensocial wasn't being heavily funded by
google, the OS standard would be pushed into jquery or YUI instead of
the other way around.
