I tried to verify ownership of a current application in Orkut. I put

However in a previous thread about ownership issue you mentioned to
try a different way, by just creating a new Content tag:

So my questions are:
a. Is there another way to get the weekly statistics from my gadget
without verifying ownership?
b. Is there another way to verify ownership for a current live gadget?
It's a little difficult for me to verify ownership in this way. A
process like confirming the email author would be more efficient in my
situation.
