Hi felip some time its related to cached pages. While verifying apps from xml's locates at Google Gadgget Editor its can't find updated code while verifying. Try to verify app after some time delay. And also if you have your own host add verification code to your xml and try to verify it.
As this is from my experience. I can easily verify apps from my own host but i have to try again and again for apps hosted @ GGE! Let me know if this works!
