Agreed, unfortunatelly. Orkut team is trying to mimic facebook's interface. But what they didn't realize it is that people are going to Facebook mainly to use APPLICATIONS!
So, instead of Google put a red carpet for applications developers, it is doing the opposite! If Orkut has a strong and health application enviroment, its a win-win game, for Orkut, developers and users.
