On Thursday February 26th 2009 the Dutch OpenSolaris User Group will
hold its
seventh meeting at CompetaIT, Rijswijk
(http://www.competa.nl/?page=Contact&sub=Route-Description).
Solaris developers, users, enthusiasts, experts and novices are all welcome.
Theme for this meeting: Using OpenSolaris in Practice
From 19:00 on, you'll be welcomed with pea soup and rye-bread.
We will start at 19:30, agenda as follows:
Bart Muijzer, NLOSUG host, will give an update on the group.
Jacco van Achterberg of Inprove IT Infrastyructure Solutions will
present on
their "ZFS Scalable Enterprise Disk Storage" solution: a scalable storage
solution based on Nexentastor (Nexenta Systems) and ZFS. Refer to

During the break there will be a CACert Assurance Party. More information on

Bring 2 different Photo IDs (passport / drivers license) if you plan to join
the party!!
The evening will be concluded with a talk by Rudi van Drunen, Sr. UNIX
Consultant and Architect at CompetaIT. The title is: Practical Uses of
OpenSolaris, with subjects like configuring wireless networking, and running
OpenSolaris on non-SUN hardware.
Of course there will be plenty of time for socializing and networking.
We plan to end around 21:30 with snacks and drinks.
